Novice is for someone that has not driven in a HPDE environment before and will be REQUIRED to have an Instructor ride along in their car. The instructor tutors & gives feedback and driving points the Driver. When the driver feels he/she is confident enough to move to the Solo/Intermediate, the Instructor advises the Main Instructor, who would then ride along with the driver and make the determination if he/she is ready for Solo/Intermediate.. .....usually 1 or 2 events

Well, i would think that it should be $200 for the Novice and $150 for the Intermediate..
