Well, it only took about a week to track down a forum that "frustrate" frequents, ran across a couple others in the process. *Had a run or two with that hatch of his on my bike last weekend. *That car friggin' SCOOTS! *Very impressed, aside from the high roll but it was to be expected.

Anyways, name is Daniel but everyone back home calls me Dain. *By 'back home' I mean I just moved down here from Pensacola, Fl back in August. *Former DSMer (built AWD 2G) but I finally got tired of wasting money (plus not having the bank roll required) and turned to the bike world. *Started riding about two years ago on an 03 R1. *Got into drag racing with it, and was soon left wanting more. *Just before I moved I sold it and bought something a tad faster with much more potential. *Just trying to see what is up with the scene down here and get the bike ready for some action down at Countyline soon.

I try to be, most people I've ridden with so far down here think i95 means speed limit 95. Not really cool with that kind of riding, time and place for everything. Still need a thing or two coming in the mail to be installed before a track visit. Haven't run this bike yet. The R1 I was only able to get a best of 6.46@114 on a slick, strapped, and air shifted.

No spray... yet. I would LOVE to boost it but the reliability with that really goes out the window, just not practical.

That I did. Hard to explain to people who are so against it, but the bike will only do what you make it do. I respected what it was and went my own pace. Took a lot of advice from a lot of buddies who have been riding for a long time. Liter bikes can be very unforgiving and get you into trouble really quick.
